Welcome to JD Blogs.

This is not my first attempt at a blog. I had one once, on blogger, Google’s blog platform.  I called it The Knifebox. Named for a hangout we had as kids.

The Knifebox, like I suspect of a lot of blogs, never quite made it. A lack of time and interest on my part did it in. A lack of knowledge, probably, too. Plus, I made it private. Somehow, The Knifebox couldn’t pull any numbers with nobody knowing it existed.

That was years ago, though. Now, with JD Blogs, I try again.

This blog has to be, as they say in the business, populated. So I’m going to go back and dredge up some of those old posts that nobody ever read (because, you know, they couldn’t) just to prime the blogging pump. I’ll throw them in with some newer ones until I feel like we’re on a bit of a roll. Then we can say goodbye to The Knifebox. Even if no one ever said hello.
